Dear Friends:

Welcome to the website of the Dallas Chapter—American Guild of Organists. Here you will find information about upcoming recitals, educational events, and organ-related programs. The Dallas Chapter, geographically expanded through the suburbs, is blessed with many fine pipe organs, both large and small, many of very fine vintage. We are not only proud of our wide array of organs, but of the qualified members who offer their services week after week. We are blessed with members both professional or amateur, conservatory-trained or self-taught, experienced concert organists or service playing neophytes alike. Some play large pipe organs, whilst others may play electronic instruments. Nonetheless, we are united by our dedication to the pipe organ, its composers and music, and to the pinnacle of church music for which the organ lends its glorious voice.

If you are a member, I would encourage you to get involved—the 2013-14 season is full of monthly activities and recitals so ably planned by our committee chairs. If you are curious about the organ, I would invite you likewise to attend a meeting or a concert and indulge your fascination with the King of Instruments. I invite you to join us as we promote the organ in its continually evolving role in our society.
